| Operating profit growth = 16%, but PE= 40, so initially I thought this was quite a bit overvalued. But then noticed the bid pipeline (15.5bn against 9.5bn (2012)). If 1/3 of the additional £6bn get converted then that would be an additional £2bn on the top line of approx £3bn, supporting approximately 66% growth. So, on this basis I think this share could be pretty good value. It all depend on how much store you want to put on the future focussed statements and how much they will be able to actually convert. Personally, I prefer to be quite cautious on future focussed statements that may or may not deliver on their promises, so I'd be hoping that it falls back to something more reasonable, where say PE <= 30. | SminkyPink - Agreed that is exactly my line of thinking, can they maintain the eps growth rate. Admittedly the 50% or so rise over this last year is probably due to the acquisition a couple of years ago of VT group, but I would imagine most if not all of those benefits have now run their course. | The big question in my mind is what is the forecast eps for next year and will it rise as in previous years by about the same %? At the moment the forecast eps is pretty much the samer as this year I would expect arevision upwards! ----- Probably not due to the goverment looking into the expense that is the decom of sellafield.
