We would only own the patents for the mfcl. All others would be gmbh (mbh, wind, hydro)

I suppose it depends on what the detail was behind this statement

The Company has paid €150,000 in return for certain assets, settlement of all inter-company accounts and confirmation of full title to the necessary intellectual property rights to manufacture non- superconducting mFCLs. By WeRDoomed

The 'gmbh' patents are not owned by us as far as am aware.

Previously on this BB John said there are 8 patents related to mFCL.

A quick search revealed a total of 190 patents under Zenergy. Some of these are Zenerdy GMBH, but I am assuming these may have moved over??

So there are approx 180 patents in addition to the mFCL ones that they may have control over. Some of these are quite unusual I have to say
"Compositions and methods for making rare earth metal-Ba2Cu3O7-delta films are described".
Some of theses others relating to superconductors may be of interest to a company such as Honeywell Speciality Materials (who they were doing some work with at one point) or some to other companies involved with superconducting.

Maybe they just need enough money to fund 1 or 2 more demonstrators.

On the other hand if they even get one of the 3 substantial orders then they may need money for other things.

from the ago statement
"the Board believe that shareholders' interests will be best served by the Board considering in parallel other potential strategic options"

sell the company or sell the IP - what else? That statement left a lot to the imagination. By griller

Why would Zen want to sell the fcl patents?

according to Bloomberg the infamous Vampire Squid is ramping up its patents acquisition business. Cue Mr Cleaver! Get your money back (and some of ours) by using the squid's tentacles to sell off the patents to the Yanks. Zenergy is too small to make the most of what it has achieved like so many UK companies over the last 40 years with better research than commercial muscle. By griller

(Thanks fbts)

Tempted to run for the hills, but love the technology, and SC involvement...

But trying to fathom a reason for staying when ZEN has this guy hanging over them..

22:24 19/04/2012 Lightning strike disrupts trains
If only they had gone to Zenergy!!

"Main line trains out of London travelling to the South East have been cancelled or heavily disrupted by lightning strikes.

Network Rail said the lightning hit a power substation near Wandsworth causing major problems for signalling.

A spokesman for the rail operator said it was "not looking good" for getting the problem sorted soon, adding that engineers were accessing the damage."

Wouldnt need to assess the damage with an MFCL it would just carry on working.

Hope the sales team are on the case!

Maybe the commuters could chip in together and buy an MFCL

I think they should have reported when they crossed 10%, so why havent they? By Skeky

Exactly, and Cloverleaf have crossed 13%, 12%, 11% and 10% without any announcement.

I believe that holdings reports only need to be issued if crossing certain percentages.

As far as Aquaglow are concerned, neither the holdings reported on the website nor in the Annual Report agree with the latest RNS.

AR 30/01/2012 - 2,370,032 (3.43%)
Current website - 2,584,750 (3.74%)
RNS 15/11/2011 - 2752,000 (3.98%)
RNS 07/11/2011 - 3,401,750 (4.925%)
RNS 12/10/2011 - 3,475,750 (5.03%)

So any difference between the AR and the website is insignificant. Aqua glow has been reducing its holding for some time.

As for Cloverleaf, there has been a reduction since the last RNS.

AR 30.01/2012 - 6,489,390 (9.40%)
Current website - 7,179,790 (10.40%)
RNS 01/03/2011 - 8,579,790 (13.19%)

This begs the question, why have there been no RNSs concerning their holding since March 2011?

As the website does not give a date for the holdings, it is not clear whether they have been updated since the snapshot in the AR. The page was last updated yesterday but that does not mean that every item of data has been updated. Perhaps flybytheseat has been closely monitoring the page and can say when the holdings changed.
