Totally agree. Sold too early at £1550 only to watch it rise to £1750. Bought some at £16.50 and £15.50.
Now waiting for the sub £14 By fillmyboots

Cash is king in these markets. Having sold all my Petrofac 2 weeks ago, I thought yesterday was typical of my (poor) decision making - today, however, all yesterday's gains are wiped out and tomorrow could be as bad again. The writing is on the wall, quality is suffering (but maybe not as much as some of the dross out there) and timing my buy -in is less than clear. Fear abounds, almost time to get greedy, when Petrofac reaches sub £14, perhaps?

You need to check yesterday's broker targets (previous day at bottom of the page)

I'm just going to wait out this week for further developments re Euro/Greece/Oil price etc etc before I buy back in. Still hopeful of another large fall sometime soon! By Yertiz

No reference to PFC there that I can see WB (unless I've missed it), are you sure that you have given the right link? By hopefull2

Dont forget folks PFC reports in $ not Euros By worsleybird

What a remarkably foolish thing to do, I had credited Asfari with a little more nouse. So now everyone is concentrating on the jet costs rather than the business.

I make the $1.4m at $3.5k (in the US) or €4.5k (in europe) per hour for a mid-size jet equivalent to about 300+ hours of flying time. This is not outrageous usage for a company of PFC's size. I guess a valid question would be: Was Asfari's supply of a jet to the company a competitive tender?

Either way what on earth possessed him to look to make a few extra bucks in this way and dump the company into the middle of an argument about ethics, conflicts of interest and suspect corporate governance? By mutandis13

Difficult to be critical with this BOD. I suppose you can't have everything. Seldom get a report as good as this one. The share is a buy because the man who want the jet, may need to buzz around with so much going on. All to our benefit as well we must hope. By Optomust

As Petrofac becomes the latest to face shareholder anger, James Moore finds backing stock market winners is so much harder than Dragons' Den

Today, Petrofac will hold its annual meeting and corporate governance consultancy Pirc has been moved to advise that shareholders vote down its report and accounts over its hiring of a corporate jet. A corporate jet which just happens to be owned by an offshore trust of which chief executive Ayman Asfari is a beneficiary.
