Thanks for putting it in to perspective.

Mrs Pr would feel cheated if you went via the roof with me. She will want to kill you herself! She could do synchronised pushing though but she might feel that was too quick.

Makes one wonder what yapping has been going on in the background all this time. Has a certain someone been a tad greedy do you think?

I would still favour an announcement that funding had been agreed in principle but the crossings and dotings will take a while longer.

lol...the roof...

i dont think its that bad. its cash positive, and with the rto in play i cant see what major costs are going to hit them.

stay cool... or save a place on the roof for me!

Pr,

Thanks for taking the trouble to do that. £390K isn't much. Very sobering. I want to read it a few more times and give it some thought before heading for the roof.

I really is about IF now with when rather secondary. I wonder if this situation gives rise to an extension. I wouldn't have thought they would be put on a long leach from mid June but WTFDIK.

11:46 24/05/2012 omans accounts
they are now on line.

the most important bits, as you cant copy/paste.

the auditors signed the accounts off.

the net loss for the year ended 31.12.11 is Euro 4.4-m

cash in bank is euro 390-k

Point 9 of the accounts. going concern.... i'm typing some of this for the holders here..

...the continuing losses are unsustainable without an income being realised from the investment. the directors are of the opinion that the company is a going concern as the investment in arar oil and gas licenses are expected to increase in value. the CPR obtained from synergy GB ltd indicates a net present value of UK£365-m. the directors have recorded the investment asset at cost due to the going concern issue. the main holder of the comnvertable debt is exercising their option to convert the debt to share capital. this will return the company to a solvent position. the directors and shareholders are currently in negotiations with the main holder of the convertable debt to allow for the purchase by then of the entire share capital of the company.
********************************************

those with a maths head.... £365-m divided by 691-m shares is 52p per share.

what i dont know if that 365-m is just for the half oman own.

if it is then the oman/arar could be to the tune of £1.04... be nice....

good things for me are the accounts were filed up, they note the rto, effectively they tick all the stat boxes by giving reason for the rto, they carry the asset at cost so no tax for revaluations etc...

theres some cash in the bank... bet a quid there wont be on rto though - i wouldnt...lol... !

imo.. gla...

22:29 23/05/2012 Re: greek bans recapitalised
Your right it couldn't be worse till tomorrow, after having watched the news tonight, basically the krauts are the only ones ith money, they will have to pick the bill up for the Greeks, who are now trying to creat rifts in the euro zone by providing dis and mis infortmation ramping and decamping their situation.

They have to go . Least we could get the kicking out the way and move on. Merkle will not budge the avg kraut in the strasse want Greece gone. If she funds Greece she will be gone.

The frogs want a uro bond at 4percent ....... The Jerries don't as they are paying point seven...

i'll gauge my new trading strategy of sheer profiteering at the end of june !!!

How could it be worse? I don't even look at the bottom of the page for my portfolio on shareprice anymore because that is where the totals are for value and cost.

So true what you said about reputation.

I've not a clue about one of the things you just said about Greece so will go and have a laugh at one of the news sites.

on top of that the greek chemists have gone on strike... total nightmare if you needed something for the weekend!!!

i see tom winiford got a total pasting on advfn, under the rivington street holdings co... they even stuck a picture of his bird up and commented on her.... !!!

a reputation is a long time in the making... gone in seconds.....

Of course it wasn't the right time. You should know how AIM works by now.

1) It will go up within days.

2) You will find yourself thinking oh why or why did I sell

3) It will continue up and you will feel most mightily miffed

4) You will think that Indy and me don't know nought and we are both rubbish

5) Then it will fall like a cliff on something arbitrary that should have sent the price up

6) You will think than Indy and me are masters of the art and by all rights should be a lot less poor

NB: In the past between 1) and 2) you would have bought back higher in a panic about losing out.

Pity they haven't shed some directors. Why did we need a team like that these past six months or seven months or eight.

I almost forgot number seven

7) The stupid Greeks will vote with their hearts for that commie and the share price will jump 20%!

8) Mrs Pr will regard you suspiciously every night as you sneak off to the computer to figure out how much you have lost or didn't make today.

thanks.. my first profit for ages.... i am awash with smugness... got in at the right time and out... at what i think is the right time. had troub selling actually, but after a couple of goes got rid of them all in the end... bought more gkp after bem.... my view taht GKP s been 4 quid before and therefore should do that again....

i will keep an eye on excit.

i wish co hse ireland would let me get the accounts, maybe tomorrow. and will post up the important parts.

theres 8 days till june.... i shall start the count down today!!!

all the best mate... By peckham-rye
13:05 23/05/2012 What, Pr took profit, what ever next
Pr,

Congrats on the profit taking and now you mention it I've only taken losses or held them with AIM this year. But then again I've lost interest in betting on it as betting is all it is. I'll take that back if you can have your own valuations on who much XEL and GKP are worth.

Thank you very much for being the only PI I know off who bothers monitoring that companies house or any other one that comes to that and then sharing said info.

In most ways I also hope Greece leaves. Let's find out what happens if they vote the wrong way according to Merkel and then have a post-Lehman bottom in the market so we can start afresh.

As for a suspension if there is a mechanism to extend then I'm almost sure that will happen mostly because I now think it has always suited some people to use all the time available but I just haven't figured out why yet. In which case then I guess July. If AIM don't allow for extensions or don't approve an application then I hope it's June!

Thanks AGAIN for sharing yet AGAIN.

Indy

Do you guys have any idea when this company is going to come out of suspension please? By dream waverider
9:49 23/05/2012 Re: For PR
i just took some profit on them and got more beowulf mining.

profit. that was physcologically (unlike my spelling) important for me, i think its the first money i have made on the aim all year!!!

anyway.. i bring news from the front...

the annual return for oman resources has been filed with co house ireland.

same directors, no change in anything... the return is made up to the 8th feb 2012.

the shareholders continue to be:

sorbus holdings SA - of British Virgin Islands 25-m shares
ghana oil and gas also of british virgin islands - 25-m shares

where are these british virgin islands.... !!!! must be a grand place.. cant be anywhere near the walworth road!!!

i will await the accounts now and get those too and let you guys know.

at least the forms were filed, so no striking off for being late etc... and if they are getting the docs in order then imo the deal must be progressing.

thats just my thoughts... no evidence to back it up etc..

imo

all the best

my next profit point for xcite is £3.00, thats not for my entire holding but per share btw. do i think it possible.. nope.... why.... because the stock market has always been one big dissapointment to me, and xcite should be no different.

roll on the collapse of greece, ironically, my calander today tells me that today the euro exceeded its initial trading value of $1.18 for the first time since introduced on the 23rd may 1999.

if they knew then what i know now... they would have called it a day with the euro then! By peckham-rye
18:44 22/05/2012 Re: For PR
Gee thanks, that's the bit I have been missing.

So you won't ponder the sell concept till they've fallen 20% again. Then you'll hanker after the price they are now. Well maybe not because that's what I do and I'm unique right. By indolent
15:08 22/05/2012 Re: For PR
ive just been playing at TA.. its quite simple really, you draw a line starting at where the price was lowest, then you draw a line when the price was highest.

if you angle these lines to cut through the sort of heart rate looking chart you get a buy in or exit price.

i saw all this on cnn last night... money in motion.. i recommend it.

anyway.... what i have learned is that the lines can be drawn in a variety of colours.

hope that helps.
