Should be heading further north shortly especially once the penny share tippers get hold of the news. I think we have got in just the right time.
Personally hope to see 25p soon enough.

That cheeky £10k buy at 8p is starting to cover my losses in Northern Rock!
Roll on, as I said once bigger buys come in and the small investors radar these they should stay steady 15p plus.
Good luck

Hi Mav. peeps thought CEO was risky a couple of years back, but look at it now....and still one that almost everone has never heard of.

I stay to max £2500 on the riskies - inc SHFT.......£4700 is a lot to drop if they go very badly and I had a few of suchlike and bigger go bad in the 2008/9 patch.

If you fancy risky....WBN, but you don't need to do big to win strongly. this is 86% held by one and therefore very few shares in free circulation when peeps want it - which is usually when it's being strongly ramped, which keeps happeneing. Best to try to get them berween 1.5p - 2p and jst wait for them to be pumped....or, if it ever happens - some good news! But still be prepared for a loss...so maybe not too much there.

MWB - now that is risky?

Hey Mantrova you look at some diverse shares, I thought I was risky!

It seems that the fall on SHAFT has been great for sure. Just put them on my watch list at 47p. If it moves I think a 50p buy in price with upward curve.

Would be a small punt say 10,000 shares.

Maverick - I forgot to make a small mention of SHFT if you were looking for a possible recovery in a different patch. The mkt in their shares is fairly tight so they seem to respond both ways.

Just read their recent RNS's and then their figures etc, although the bb's tell the main story.

Many who bought much higher will have replaced the F in their epic code with an I .... !!

Still risky, but who knows

Hi Maverick

Thanks for your news.

I've spent a bit of time looking at the numbers for MBT. There must be some expectation of some chunky news to come as, to me, the valuation still seems rather rich for not much to show for it. But something has kept the sp well up so I've got it firmly on my watch-list and we'll see.

I still fancy Globo, but have been holding from 10p for a while. There's an RNS from them today and Dan Stewart have another of their very optimistic tp's of 100p for this Greek GBO.

Well done with Solomon - I bought at 30p and just watched them drop!

FTC are a better one for me as I bought at 21p and more at 18p ( followed the dirs) but until they have news good or bad, I think the sp will stick around 30p until they prove themselves.

I'll let you know if I do some MBT but can see that if it wasn't being supported by Wilkinson it might be down the pan, I think.

Best wishes

Hi Mantrova,
Good to hear of another MBT follower..
Looks like you timed Filtronic to a tee! Esp if you got in 15-18p.

I have bought a few MBT recently. I know the board are mooting a £1 target price. That I would love to see but highly doubt it. Apparently a few interesting things in the pipeline.

Thing with these small shares is their liquidity levels. Good news they will be 20p and you have to get in that morning, or no news you are sitting on a 10p shares for months, years even as could be the case here.

Same with Solomon Gold.
I bought in at 5p, wached them go to 86p, never sold (What a loser!) and they are now 10p.

Hey ho!

Good luck with MBT, Maverick. I haven't looked at them since selling out , last June. But todays' "options RNS" caught my eye, so I'm on a cold start to find out what they are doing at the present which warrants this gift...and if they are worth a punt.

At the time some of my MBT proceeds went into some low priced FTC, (also Yorkshire based) and they seem to be making progress.....well, the sp is.

Yes, thats what I thought the technology was amazing. Having been speaking with one of the directors back in 2007 he explained PTT and I thought it was a worth investing in. Only time will tell. I got burnt with Intechnology when they bought back the company from Pi's and these are the same team.
I hope it works out for all of us.

Maybe they will not get the crazy valuation of some US internet/technology stocks but it does seem these kind of shares do get ridiculous valuations. The technology seems amazing... By barno99

Agree with Mantrova,
Personally I hold £15,000 of shares since 2007 so why would I want to talk the price down?. On the contrary I was being kind by suggesting the price was not reflective of the business model or the profits which incidentally are not what I would want them to be. Simply suggesting that this share is not going to boom in the near future to the extent Barno believes I was proposing people research before jumping in on wild suggestions of where this is going and how we are all to be rich.

13:10 13/06/2011 Re: Prospects.
barno, I can assure you that there's no collusion here. I think it's simply a case of MBT being rather overvalued for the present state of the business - turnover and "profit".

Last week the share caught the eye of some of our ADVN friends and a small amount of rapid buying pushed up the price beyond what was reasonable. Unfortunately that produced some badly burnt buyers and the interest has gone away....for the time being.

There are nearly 185m shares here - I think that's a problem for the sp as it requires some really quite chunky profits to support any share price increase.....particularly in this market.
