| Yep went Ex-Div today. You could jump in and expect to get the 4.1p premium (at time of writing) assuming the deal goes through, but you would get no dividend on them. However, you would have to buy a reasonable number in order for the broker fees to make it worth your while. Remember 4p is only 1%. By Mark Y38 |

| Did anyone else receive two acquisition documents and voting cards through the post? They arrived 3 days apart and as far as I can see are identical with exactly the same reference numbers. I only have a single holding so I have no idea why. I do hold my shares in CREST so maybe this has confused their system for some reason. By Mark Y38 |

| Still waiting for the postman but I was told they do receive a 0.25% rate of interest. It should be in the document somewhere. By Mark Y38 |

| 11:01 17/05/2012 | Loan note v's cash consideration |
| Hi - received the further documentation this morning. What is the benefit of taking the loan note option ? Is it just converting your value into a promise to pay some money in the future when you want it - so presumably benefit is you can defer when capital gains tax liability kicks in ? - over a number of years by cashing in your loan notes over a number of years ? Any consideration of going down this route presumably needs to be off set by way of impact of inflation on the value of the loan note (which I presume stays fixed?) Thanks By interested observer2 |

| As stated previously I have certificates for 10,000 IPR shares, I seem to have had them for many years but I cannot recall ever purchasing them. Can any one enlighten me as to where they came from. By Rosycheeks |

| 9:15 15/05/2012 | Re: Scheme of Arrangement |
| Whilst I do not know for certain, in the past you have not had to return the certificate under these circumstances. They know how many shares you have through the register. I still have my (worthless) Powergen, HBOS and other Certificates somewhere. By Mark Y38 |

| As i understand the documents, the payout to IP shareholders arises from cancellation of the shares on the Exchange. Does this mean shareholders who own paper certificates do not have to send the certificates to get their money? Avnyone know? I ask because I shall be abroad in June/July and I need to make special arrangements if I need to send the certificates. By kilindidni |

| OK Rosycheeks
so buying at todays closing 419.45 + 0.5% Stamp = 421.5. This leaves less than 2p profit (or 0.5%) for 2 months
probably get better in a building society. Well dun though on your 41K (Im only in for 26K, but bought at seriously low prices so I'm pretty happy). Going back to my post of 23rd April the real question is do we sell before settlement? That depends on your view of the market. Its down about 5% since the deal was announced so were way ahead since the IPR sp is effectively fixed. Ive been close to selling but not convinced of suitable bargains and the market still seems to be falling so holding fire By Hang in to the bitter end |

| Bitter end, I do not think that it matters whether the deal is AT or O a deal is a deal, there have been some substantial deals to day at prices 2p or more above when I suggested the idea, that's 2p a share less profit at the end, but still worth it for many traders. I will keep my 10,000 IPR shares until settlement, that's about £525 in dividend to add to £41800 from the shares, all at no cost, by that time the market maybe will have settled down a bit and there will be some real bargains to be picked up By Rosycheeks |
