another red herring all they are doing is living day by day, think about it, there warrenty is costing a small packet . the three herberts are puting there own pension in. the only reason they are selling taxis. because the cab driver is not putting any money in. wait till the cab driver has to give the taxi back in three years , then we will see the ...... hit the fan. get out as fast as you can, even if you make a lost, they will go down to a penny, they are not seling many taxis have a look how many london taxis are selling compare. you have a bunch of east end cab drivers and two bit mechanics playing with your shares, i advise share holders when mann & overton were 98 i warned them they did not listen, they are now 36. cab drivers cannot afford new taxis. thats why drivers are renting a taxi it is cheaper, By littlebern

7:42 20/05/2011 Re: London Market Share Drop?
Mmmmmm, I would still go for the Vito with all its benefits. Better driving position, extra passenger seat, extra revenue, higher comfort level, air conditioning, safer sliding doors etc.
Yes, there are niggling problems but its early in development. The black cab is supposed to be fully developed. By oohthatscheep
15:30 18/03/2011 London Market Share Drop?
Manganese Bronze reported results today, and apparently they had increased their share of new sales in the London market, to like 80% level.

This doesn't bode well for ECV, as really its their market share that is being eaten into by Manganese.

I'll be awaiting the next trading update quite keenly to see if they've stopped growing in the London taxi market. By Boony
